Strong, elastic, and shiny – this is how healthy hair looks like. What can you do to restore their good condition? For hair beauty, care, diet, and habits are important. In Hollywood, hairstylists advise their salty-haired clients to use satin pillowcases. They are gentler on the hair than cotton ones, reducing friction and tangling that weaken the strands. What else besides this trick is worth trying to improve hair condition?
Diet for dry hair
Dry hair is often a reaction to the lack of certain nutrients in the diet. Minerals are particularly important, including zinc, copper, and silicon. Therefore, include nuts, almonds, flax seeds, and oats in your menu. You can also drink tea with horsetail daily for 3 months (2 tablespoons of herb in 2 cups of water for 20 minutes). Also, add vegetable oils to your dishes. For example, evening primrose oil or olive oil. Olive oil contains unsaturated fatty acids that moisturize the strands from the inside.
Home remedies for dry hair
Choose shampoos with plant extracts, vitamins, and panthenol for washing, which binds moisture inside the hair. Well-moisturized hair does not become static, they are stronger, less prone to damage. After each wash, use moisturizing conditioners. For example, with ceramides and vitamin E (prevents hair from drying out). Once a week, leave the conditioner longer. For example, 30 minutes. Wrap your head with foil and a towel. Heat will help the ingredients penetrate deeper. If your hair tends to split ends, apply a keratin sebum 2-3 times a month to the ends, which fills the gaps in the hair. Thanks to this, the strands will become shiny.

At the hairdresser, you can use a moisturizing steam treatment. The specialist applies a sauna mask to washed hair. Long and medium-length hair is pinned up. Then we sit with our head placed under a dome-shaped device. At the back of the device, there is a container with distilled water. When it heats up to 40°C, steam begins to escape under the dome. Such a treatment lasts about 20 minutes. Remember that it’s worth repeating this treatment every week. You will achieve a lasting regenerating effect after 4 treatments.
