Ingredients: 2 liters of whey, 200 grams of bacon, a piece of village sausage, 1 peeled horseradish root, 4 hard-boiled eggs, 5 tablespoons of cream, salt, and pepper.
Pour the whey into a saucepan. Add diced bacon, sausage sliced into rings, and horseradish cut into small sticks. Cook for 45 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and cream. Serve with slices of boiled eggs.
Whey and raspberry smoothie
Ingredients: a glass of whey, a glass of fresh raspberries, a teaspoon of bran, a teaspoon of honey, mint or lemon balm leaves for decoration.
Blend everything and pour into glasses. Decorate with herbs.
Recipe for whey bread
Ingredients: 1 liter of whey, 900 grams of coarse flour, 100 grams of graham flour, 2 tablespoons of wheat bran, 3 tablespoons each of sunflower seeds and flax seeds, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of salt, 50 grams of fresh yeast.
Pour the flour into a bowl and mix. Add toasted bran, grains from a dry pan, salt, and sugar, as well as crumbled yeast. Mix well. Pour in 1 liter of whey and mix again thoroughly. Leave the dough in the bowl for about 20 minutes until it slightly rises. Knead for a while and transfer to greased molds, then let it rise again for 15-20 minutes. Place in an oven preheated to 230 degrees Celsius. After 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 200 degrees and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove the loaves from the molds and cool on a rack.
